The Cairns Esplanade is a 2 kilometre hub of activity from dawn to dusk for both locals and tourists alike. The Esplanade is home to Muddy’s and the Cairns Lagoon. Muddy’s provides a fun and interactive water park aimed at children, although parents are often found splashing around too! The Cairns Lagoon is a 4 hectare area which houses an idyllic infinity style swimming area. The Lagoon is open daily from 6am till 10pm and is a very popular spot to soak up the Tropical North sunshine and enjoy a refreshing and cooling dip in the crystal clear waters.
Take a tour or rent a car to visit World Heritage listed rainforests with great walking treks and fresh water rivers that you can take a leisurely swim or an exciting rafting trip down.
